Daniela Hantuchova was born in Poprad, Slovakia on April 23rd 1983 to parents Igor, a university professor, and Marianna, a toxicologist.
Despite the academic success of her parents, Daniela's career was always going to be tennis. Whilst her entire family were keen players, Daniela was probably inspired most by her grandmother Helena, a former Czechoslovakia national player, who introduced Daniela to the sport at the tender age of three.
Aware of her granddaughter's potential, Helena signed her up at Slavia STU, a prestigious tennis club in Bratislava, where the young Daniela was instructed by Joseph Bulko.
Aged thirteen, Daniela started to spend the winter months at the Bollettieri Academy in Florida, a tennis club with an enviable record for developing talents of the future. Two years later Daniela joined the ITF circuit and went on to win two ITF Challenger titles in 1999, aged just sixteen. By now, Daniela had turned professional and tennis observers were starting to take notice
Nicole Vaidišová (born April 23 1989) is a Czech female tennis player.
Vaidišová has been playing tennis since she was six years old. She is a student of Nick Bollettieri and trains at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Her serve is considered her biggest weapon. As of April 6, 2009, Vaidišová is ranked World No. 58. On August 9, 2006, at the age of 17 years, three months, and two weeks, she became the 12th-youngest player in WTA Tour history to be ranked in the top 10. She achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 7 on May 14, 2007.
Vaidišová is a face of Reebok and has been featured in their “I Am What I Am” and “Run Easy” campaigns. She also endorses Citizen Watch Co., Ltd and its Eco-Drive design. An avid reader, Vaidišová is part of the “Get Caught Reading Campaign” to encourage people to read more. She has taken part in other philanthropic causes, such as becoming an ambassador for PlayPumps International, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean drinking water to African children. She is represented by Olivier van Lindonk of IMG.
As of March 2009, she is coached by her stepfather, Ales Kodat, who replaced David FelgateShe became a professional tennis player and since then she has won one WTA single title, six ITF single titles, six WTA doubles titles and six ITF doubles titles.

The single tournaments were won between 2000 and 2007 at Montevideo, Boca Raton, Miami, Civitanova, Rimini, Jackson and Budapest. The last one is a WTA tournament and her opponent in the final was Sorana Cirstea from Romania. Other opponents that she won against in the finals are: Geraldine Aizenberg, Jolene Watanabe, Jane Chi, Eva Fislova, Petra Mandula and Evelyn Fauth.
