Amy Winehouse’s Grief-Stricken Parents Mitch & Janis Visit Shrine (Video)

Mitch and Janis Winehouse visited the shrine made by fans outside their daughter Amy’s house in Camden on Monday morning. See the heartbreaking video of their visit here.

Amy Winehouse’s parents, Mitch and Janis, walked around viewing the memorials made up of cards, paintings, photos, and flowers, set up outside their daughter’s home by her fans.

They were joined by Amy’s brother, Alex, and the singer’s former boyfriend, Reg Traviss.

Mitch paid tribute to the fans who had come to pay their respects, following the tragic death of Amy Winehouse on Saturday.

Mitch addressed the crowd, stating, “You people in the street, I can’t tell you what this means to us – it really is making this a lot easier for us.

“Amy was about one thing and that was love, her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well. We’re devastated and I’m speechless but thanks for coming.”

The exact cause of Amy Winehouse’s death will remain a mystery for weeks as autopsy results were inconclusive.

Toxicology test results are expected in 2-4 weeks.
